What does calcium do?
It helps bones, teeth, heart, nerves, and muscles of the body systems to work properly but needs other nutrients in order to function.
Where It’s found:
You can find it in dairy, wheat/soy flour, molasses, brewer’s yeast, brazil nuts, broccoli, cabbage, dark leafy greens, hazelnuts, oysters, sardines, and canned salmon.
It’s deficiency can cause:
Osteoporosis, osteomalacia, osteoarthritis, muscle cramps, irritability, acute anxiety, and colon cancer risk.
